Direct Print vs. Inlay Printing

With inlay printing, a printed label is inserted into a recessed center on the chip. Direct print skips the label entirely — ink is applied straight to the chip surface for a smoother look and more vibrant color. If you need maximum detail, photos, or multi-color designs, direct print is the better option. For simpler one-color designs, consider hot stamp chips for a more economical choice.
